It’s been a while since I’ve participated in a book tag, but this one looked like a lot of fun, taking quizzes and whatnot. I originally saw this on Books in the Skye and it was created by The Laughing Listener. I’m not going to tag anyone, but you can consider yourself tagged if you would like to do this tag.
Rules
- Take all the quizzes down below and record your answers somehow. I decided to just copy the text from each quiz and paste it into my post, but screenshots work too! Whatever floats your goat (Yes goat. I SAID WHAT I SAID).
- NO CHEATING. You get one shot to take each quiz my friends. I’m watching you. ∗Suspicious squinty eyes∗
- Use this post to give credit to the creator Loretta @ The Laughing Listener or tag me on twitter @LaughnListener so I can see everyone’s answers!!
- Tag some friends to spread the fun!
The Tag
Red Queen
WHO I AM: Mare
Where would we be without the Lightning Girl?! You hold tight to your principles and are always willing to sacrifice yourself to protect others. But your impulsiveness can sometimes get in your own way. Make sure you give yourself a break every once in a while!
I’m glad I got a character I recognize, because I only read the first book. In some ways I agree with this and in others I don’t. It might also be because I’m annoyed by the love triangle in the first book. I’m not really sure that the second sentence is accurate to Mare but maybe to me.
Shadowhunters
WHO I AM: Charlotte Branwell & Mark Blackthorn
You may be underestimated and some may count you out, but you’re a serious person when you need to be, and take responsibility very seriously. You’re incredibly loyal (though it may not seem like it at times), and your friends are lucky to have you.
Of course one of the characters is from the spin-off I haven’t read. Now I’m going to have to find some way to read Clockwork Angel. Is the audiobook good?
I’m actually okay with the selection if only because I really like Mark. Now I also need to finish the Dark Artifices trilogy.
Throne of Glass
WHO I AM: Manon and Lorcan
You are fiercely independent and capable of unbelievable things. However, don’t be afraid to open up to new people—you’ll accomplish much more with friends by your side. You may need to be reminded of that sometimes, but you’re learning!
I’ll admit it. I don’t remember who these people are because I only read the first book, and that was five years ago. After looking them up, I don’t feel as bad since I’m pretty sure they weren’t in Throne of Glass, based on their Wiki pages.
The Hunger Games

WHO I AM: Finnick Odair
Handsome and charming, of course you’re Mr. Popular. You’ve worked hard to get where you’ve got to and you’re not letting anyone take it away from you. People may mistrust you sometimes but you know you’ll prove them wrong. Everyone benefits from having you around.
Hmm … okay. Finnick is alright, and this is a fairly accurate description of him.
Harry Potter

WHO I AM: Hermione Granger
You’re extremely intelligent and well-read. You’re respectful of rules and authority but you have your own firm principles and opinions. You like to be right all the time but you’re also very just, kind and empathetic.
Woohoo! I like Hermione and I agree with the description.
A Court of Thorns and Roses
WHO I AM: Mor, the Morrigan
Bold and beautiful, you enchant everyone around you. You fear losing your independence, so much so that you may be blind to the devotion and love you inspire in your closest friends. Keep your eyes and heart open, and you may find someone ready to love every wild, untamed, brutal piece of your body and soul.
Yet another character I haven’t met. I’m good with the description.
The Raven Cycle
WHO I AM: Barrington Whelk
You are fixated on a image or a goal – perhaps a career path or to recreate something from the past. Either way, it is this ambition that propels you forward throughout life. You have trouble making friends, but when you do build those relationships, they mean quite a lot to you.
No!!! Why did it have to be the villain that I barely remember?
Twilight

WHO I AM: Charlie Swan
Hey, Charlie. You’re a cool dude. Just keep being your adorable oblivious self. Also, your daughter is now a vampire and your granddaughter is growing at the speed of life. Shouldn’t you notice that?
What?! Yeah, he’s protective, but he’s so oblivious. I would have preferred Angela or Alice.
The Folk of the Air

WHO I AM: Taryn Duarte
People may think you’re shy but you have secrets of your own. You have your own desires and will go after them, no matter what it takes.
Well. I would like to get mad, but I wouldn’t do what Jude has done. And the description is not wrong.
The Lunar Chronicles

WHO I AM: Cress
A Lunar shell confined to a satellite to aid Queen Levana with hacking and surveillance of Earthen countries. She is a petite girl with very long honey blonde hair, a heart-shaped face, and freckles. She has a very overactive imagination, and nervous around people due to her lack of social interaction growing up.
I feel neutral about this one for the character. I only read Wires and Nerve, Vol. 1, but I thought she was an okay character. I don’t know that I care for this description.
>^..^<
What do you think of my answers? What do you think of The Lunar Chronicles or the Throne of Glass series?
This is a fun tag! I think I’d be Hermione. She’s one of my favorite fictional people. I haven’t read most of the other books in this post.
